I disagree, practically, and tactically, it's a bad move to pass it. I agree with your interpretation of this, it is very shameful. I certainly wouldn't want to own it. And I understand about the great becoming the enemy of the good, etc. But this isn't even good. It's not even poor, actually. They need to either amend it or end the Senate version, and go back to the drawing board. I intend to work to get some of these whores out of office next year. I also would love to see a grassroots movement to reform ethics and campaign finances. Real reform. As one of my heroines used to say, "I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired." Sorry.
